Family Medicine Residency

Paid personal time off
Benefits include four weeks of paid personal time off per year, to use as vacation, sick and continuing medical education (CME) days.
Continuing medical education
Continuing medical education coverage is provided at $500 the first year, $750 the second year and $1,250 the last year (some restrictions may apply).
Medical, dental, group life and disability insurance are provided for residents and dependents. Primary medical professional liability insurance coverage, including “tail” coverage, is provided to all residents through Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
Annual salaries for residents are as follows:
R1: $61,600 annually
R2: $63,800 annually
R3: $66,000 annually
In addition, two chief residents during R3 will receive a $2,000 bonus.
