The Northwest Washington Family Medicine Residency is an ACGME-accredited, unopposed, 8/8/8 residency program, located in a state–of–the–art ambulatory care center in Bremerton. The Residency operates the new CHI Franciscan Family Medicine Clinic. The Residency is affiliated with Harrison Medical Center (now St. Michael Medical Center) in the extraordinary Pacific Northwest. The two Harrison Medical Center locations will merge, with the newly named St. Michael Medical Center opening in late 2020 in Silverdale.
We offer unique educational opportunities, including: an embedded HIV clinic, a longitudinal, interest–guided community medicine experience, enhanced mental health training, Medication–Assisted Therapy training, training in a wide variety of office–based procedural skills, global health rotation opportunities, and comprehensive practice management training.
Bremerton is surrounded by water and mountains, and offers affordable housing, excellent schools and amazing outdoor recreation.
