St. Clare Hospital has been undergoing a $15.5 million renovation with the most recent addition a new Garden Café and Healing Garden that is now open to the public. The new café has added more than 4,000 square feet of new space to the dining room, which can now accommodate 200 customers. An existing parking lot is now a healing garden with a water feature, curved pathways, benches and outdoor seating.

“Our new café and healing garden are a great addition to our hospital and will help keep our employees, our patients and their families healthy as well as support our healing environment, “said Kathy Bressler, President of St. Clare Hospital.

The Café will feature a new made-to-order sandwich concept called Sliced Artisan Deli. Other new food offerings include fire-roasted flat bread pizza, roast chicken, baked mac n’ cheese and tossed-to-order salads.

“We designed our new menu to incorporate locally grown organic and sustainable products, “said Michelle Harris, St. Clare Food & Nutrition Services Director. “ We wanted to provide selections that not only taste good, but are good for you as well,”
