Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's critical and intensive care units are equipped and ready to take care of our most seriously ill patients as they begin their road to recovery.
Patients include those who have just completed complex surgeries such as open heart or vascular procedures, or who have suffered multiple injuries. These units provide 24-hour monitoring by critical care nurses trained to meet the high demands of this special patient care.
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health has seven critical and intensive care units: St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale and St. Anne Hospital in Burien.
