Zhiqing Xing, MD, PhD
Zhiqing Xing, MD, PhD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and musculoskeletal oncology. He is highly skilled in bone and joint reconstruction surgeries, including minimally invasive hip/knee joint replacement, revision total joint replacement, segmental bone replacement, arthrodesis, osteotomy, computer assisted limb deformity correction, and repair of bone fracture nonunion or malunion. He also has special interest in treating bone and soft tissue tumors with limb salvage techniques.
Through his unique experiences, Dr. Xing has learned the vast diversity of patients' conditions, cultural differences, and individual needs. He strongly believes in individualized treatment that is tailored to each patient's condition and need. He follows the evidence-based medicine and treats his patients with state of the art techniques that have been proven with scientific data.
Dr. Xing is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a teaching faculty member of AO Trauma North America. Prior to relocating to Tacoma, he was an orthopedic surgery faculty member at the University of South Alabama and practiced in the east Gulf Coast area for more than seven years.
