Richard Wohns, MD
Dr. Wohns has expertise in the field of neurosurgery that includes outpatient and minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spine surgery, and cervical and lumbar disc arthroplasty (artificial disc). Dr. Wohns was rated one of the 100 best spine surgeons and specialists in America by Joimax in February 2011. He treats patients 16 years and older.
Dr. Wohns has served as an associate clinical professor of Neurological Surgery at the University since 1995. He also has a law degree from Seattle University School of Law and an MBA from the University of Washington School of Business.
Dr. Wohns is a highly devoted martial arts master with a 4th degree black belt (Master Level) in Tae Kwon Do, and is an avid bicyclist, skier and competitive tennis player.
