Katherine Y Fan, MD
Katherine Fan, MD, is a gastroenterologist who partners with her patients to help them make informed decisions about their health that are consistent with their individual goals and values, with attention to their wellness as a whole person. She is committed to providing high-quality digestive care and honest, patient-centered communication to help patients take control of their health.
Dr. Fan is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. She has co-authored clinical trials, translational studies and basic science research in gastrointestinal diseases and immunology. Her work has been featured in science textbooks and at national society meetings across disciplines.
Away from work, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, snowshoeing, reading and cooking.
