Peter Dunaway, MD
Peter Dunaway, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in digestive disorders in adults. In particular, he has a passion for colon cancer prevention.
Dr. Dunaway delivers care with compassion while educating patients on all aspects of their disease. For patients with more serious disorders, he serves as an advocate, helping them identify the resources and support necessary to cope with their disorder.
Dr. Dunaway is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology. Prior to joining CHI Franciscan Health, he served as Chief of Gastroenterology at Madigan Army Medical Center and as a Deputy Commander for Clinical Services and gastroenterologist for the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
