Emily Archer grew up in the small desert town of Rosamond, CA which is north of Los Angeles. She received her BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of California Irvine before moving to the Pacific Northwest to complete her PharmD at the University of Washington. Currently, she is interested in oncology, ambulatory care, and neonatal intensive care, but looks forward to a diverse range of patient care experiences. In her spare time, she enjoys playing board games, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Emily is grateful for the opportunity to join the CHI Franciscan team and is excited to expand her clinical knowledge and skills as a pharmacist.
Samantha Axelrod is from the sunshine state, raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She completed both her B.S. degree in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Florida. Samantha's current interests are focused within oncology, pediatrics, academia and ambulatory care. Her mantra is to always grow and learn from any experience she has along the way. At CHI Franciscan, she is excited to gain unique experiences to sharpen her clinical skillset and develop herself both personally and professionally. Samantha loves yoga, puppies, live music and making meaningful connections with others. Samantha is grateful for the opportunity to join the CHI Franciscan healthcare team to learn from, advocate for, and empower all patients.
Ashley Chen was born and raised in Seattle, WA but also lived oversees in China for nearly a decade. She attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy where she earned her PharmD. Her pharmacy practice interests include oncology, administration, transitions of care, and behavioral health. Outside of her daily responsibilities at the hospital, she enjoys photography, hot yoga, hiking, eating copious amounts of Pacific Northwest delicacies, and stalking dogs on social media (preferably large fluffy ones). Ashley is grateful to have been given the opportunity to expand her clinical knowledge and continue to grow as a pharmacist with the CHI Franciscan team.
Alexis Cornelio was born near Sacramento, California but grew up in Chicago, IL. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Biology as well as her PharmD from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Her current interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and oncology. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with her friends and family. Alexis is excited to begin her pharmacy career at CHI Franciscan and is looking forward to expanding her clinical knowledge and growth as a pharmacist.
Rachael Pratt was born and raised in Bremerton, Washington. She received both her B.S. in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy from Pacific University in Oregon. Her current interests include infectious disease, oncology, and internal medicine, but she is excited to learn about many other areas of pharmacy throughout her residency. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, playing with her dog, and sampling many different foods. Rachael is excited to begin her clinical pharmacy career at CHI Franciscan and looks forward to expanding her clinical knowledge and skills as a pharmacist throughout the upcoming year.
Natalie Slusarenko was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA where her family has farmed apple orchards for three generations. She completed her B.A. in Mathematics at Walla Walla University and then moved to the “big city” of Seattle, WA to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Washington. Her current pharmacy interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and infectious disease. In her free time, she enjoys baking, spending time with family, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Natalie is excited to be part of the CHI Franciscan family and looks forward to fostering her relationships with staff while also expanding her knowledge and clinical skills as a pharmacist.
