Stroke can strike at any age! Learn how CHI Franciscan Health brought our stroke team to help Strike Out Stroke. At a Tacoma Rainiers minor league baseball game, volunteers and stroke survivors spread the word about stroke signs, prevention and the importance of calling 911 at first signs of a stroke.

American Stroke Association

The Joint Commission's Primary Stroke Center Certification program was developed in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Their site provides information on stroke education, prevention, detection and recovery.
