The Academy offers two levels of learning opportunity:
- Part A: Is a 14-hour 2-day session for development and training in generalist level palliative care skills via small group learning and clinical observation (14 CME credits)
- Part B: Is a 4-hour training session focused on pain and symptom management; interested participants must complete Part A prior to registering for Part B (4 CME credits)
The CHI Franciscan Health is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association CME Accreditation Committee to sponsor continuing medical education activities for physicians.
The CHI Franciscan Health designates this educational activity for a maximum of 18 hours in Category I credit to satisfy the re-licensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
