Joe Merchan is a certified physician assistant with special interest in hand, spine and hip replacement surgery. Working as a team player alongside his supervising physician, Joe conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats orthopedic conditions, orders and interprets tests, counsels patients on preventive care and assists in surgery.

As a former athlete who sustained a career-ending injury, Joe seeks to help others prevent injury through information, and to provide the best quality care when injuries occur. Joe is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
