At Franciscan Cancer Center, we believe cancer care is not just about treating the disease, but rather caring for the whole person. Our cancer care locations include St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, the Jane Thompson Russell Cancer Care Center in Gig Harbor, and the Franciscan Highline Cancer Center in Burien. With locations throughout Washington’s Puget Sound region, our patients have access to premier cancer care services, close to home.
Patients are cared for by multidisciplinary teams of doctors, nurses and navigators, and other essential providers such as pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers and others, all with specialized education, expertise and dedication to the care of cancer patients. To better support our patients and their families, cancer navigators help patients through the treatment process by working collaboratively with their health care teams to serve as a central point of contact to educate, support and guide each patient and their family members through diagnostic and treatment options.
Franciscan Cancer Center is proud to be among the top 25 percent of cancer programs in the United States accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), following or adhering to the highest standards for cancer patient care and outcomes.
