Ron Wilcox, DC
Dr. Wilcox successfully completed the Washington State Board for licensure as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1990. In 1996, he became a chiropractic consultant for the Department of labor and Industries, and an approved examiner in 1998. In 2004, he was nominated to the "Chiropractic Advisory Committee" (CAC) for the Department of Labor and Industries. In 2007, the CAC was legislated into the “Industrial Insurance Chiropractic Advisory Committee”. He is chair of a subcommittee pertaining to Chiropractic outreach and education. In this capacity, he has been involved with helping create new content and modify consultant and independent medical examiners educational programs and policies for the department, in the face of rapidly emerging occupational health best practices.
In 2008, Dr Wilcox was nominated to the Provider Network Advisory Group, which was charged in developing policy toward the new medical provider network for the department. This group has subsequently evolved into the Advisory Committee on Healthcare Innovation and Evaluation, due to the expanded role in advising in evolving best practices in occupational health for the department. All this time, Dr. Wilcox continued to provide chiropractic healthcare in a solo practice in Tumwater, Washington.
