Meet Our Franciscan Patient Placement Center Team

Donna Benjamin 2014Donna Benjamin began her nursing career over 25 years ago and joined the Franciscans in 1992. She earned a Masters in Management through Troy University in 2011. In 2010 she transferred to the FPPC after working as a manager in SJMC’s emergency department. Her extensive nursing background experience includes emergency, home health, hospice, medical-surgical, ICU, PCU, PACU, nurse educator positions and management positions.

Patti HarrisPatti Harris obtained her RN degree nearly 20 years ago. She worked as a cardiac and pediatric ICU nurse at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento and became CCRN certified. She came to St. Joseph Medical Center in 1996, where she worked in open heart recovery and served as a charge nurse for the critical care department. She also covered as a relief hospital supervisor.

 MaryBeth PetersonMary Beth Peterson graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She started in medical-surgical nursing and then served as a nursing instructor in the Peace Corps in Colombia. Her extensive nursing experience includes open-heart/surgical ICU, PACU, hospital supervision, OB (inpatient and community health), and most recently, the Franciscan Palliative Care Outreach program.

Janet Bredeson received her nursing degree in 1983. Janet has experience in both Operating Room and Critical Care nursing, including open heart and transplant recovery, med/surg ICU, and trauma/neuro ICU nursing. Janet began her nursing career with the CHI Franciscan Health in 1988. She worked in Critical Care as a Charge Nurse and as a relief House Supervisor until 2011 when she came to the FPPC.

Alicia GehringAlicia Gehring has worked in healthcare since 1995. She began her nursing career with at St. Joseph Medical Center in 2003 after graduating with honors with her BSN from Seattle Pacific University. Alicia worked in Critical Care at St. Joseph Medical Center for almost 10 years prior to transferring to the FPPC in 2013. She worked in PCU, med/surg ICU and neuro/trauma ICU and most recently as a Resource Nurse and Critical Care Charge Nurse.

Cheri DreilingCheri Dreiling graduated with her BSN from Pacific Lutheran University in 2004 and began her nursing career with Franciscan at St. Joseph Medical Center. Cheri worked in PCU, ICU, open heart recovery and also as a Resource and Charge Nurse in Critical Care prior to coming to the FPPC in 2013.

Sheila Domine has been with Franciscan for many years. Throughout her nursing career, she has gained a powerful experience and blend of nursing knowledge, management and leadership skills, including Critical Care and Cardiac Surgery as staff, charge nurse, house supervisor and clinical manager. Her knowledge, leadership, supervisory and communication skills add to and enrich the experienced team, providing excellent service to our physicians and patients.
