Introducing CenteringPregnancy(R), a New Group Prenatal Experience

CenteringPregnancy provides pregnant women with the opportunity to share the experience of pregnancy with other women who know exactly what you're going under the supervision and care of an experienced midwife.

Sometimes sharing your pregnancy with other women who know exactly what you’re going through is the best way to learn and feel confident about this wonderful journey.

That’s why we’re introducing the CenteringPregnancy® group-visit prenatal care program, which gives you the opportunity to experience pregnancy care and childbirth education simultaneously in a group setting.

What it is

CenteringPregnancy integrates, in a group setting, the three major components of prenatal care:

  • Health checks: Assessment/checkups, including blood pressure, belly checks, urine dips, etc.
  • Education: Comprehensive learning and in-depth information about what’s occurring for mom and baby during the pregnancy. Takes the place of prenatal education.
  • Community building: An opportunity to make connections and cultivate a support system among others in a similar stage of pregnancy.
