Dennis deLeon, MD, joined CHI Franciscan Health as vice president for medical affairs and associate chief medical officer for King County in May 2012.
Board-certified in family medicine, he has served in medical staff leadership roles at several organizations, including Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, Calif., InVivo Health Partners in Tacoma; Mary Bridge Children’s Health Alliance in Tacoma; and the Inland Empire Health Plan, a non-profit Medicaid plan in San Bernardino, Calif.
Dr. deLeon is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine at Memphis. He completed a residency in family medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, Calif., and a fellowship in clinical medical ethics at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
He is a member of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, and has served on the Council on Ethical Affairs for the California Medical Association.
